Congratulations everybody!

You’ve finished your first movie! How was it?
You’ve all worked really hard, so it’s time to look back at the process you’ve gone through and do a bit of self-evaluation.

Did all members of the group make a contribution? Did each one have a different task?
What was the most difficult part? and the part you enjoyed the most?
How did you like the activity on the whole? Were you able to do what you expected? Did you have any problems?
Would you like to make any suggestions for next year? What would you change, improve?

Don’t worry. We are going to do it step by step.

First, to make sure we all keep a friendly and respectful atmosphere for the project, check out the Code of Conduct.

The topic for this year's Festival is :
Friendship and Teens' Life Around the World
Answer these questions in the comments section:
Are friends important for you?
What activities do you share with them?
Complete this sentence: A friend is someone who....
What kind of problems can you have with them?
How do you solve those problems? What is something you would never forgive?

Then, take your time to browse through the different settings and characters available on DFilm.

You are not going to write the script today. Just choose a setting and the characters for your cartoon.

If you have time, go to the Festival Wiki. On the sidebar, click on your course and then on your names. Each pair will have a wiki page to work on the script, so that you can edit and save your work there. Click on Edit Page to write and on Save when you finish.

Once there, you can write the setting and the names of the characters. Also, you can prepare a brief summary of the story.

Cartoon festival!

We are going to take part in the Learning with Computers Cartoon Festival and you will be the directors!!!. Students of English from different countries will create their movies and share them with an international audience!

But first let’s look at some of the movies students created last year to learn how to make a digital movie!

Choose one of the movies below and write a review for one of them.
What kind of film is it?
Where does it take place?
Who are the characters?
How many scenes does the movie have? Do they have a logical sequence?
Can you describe the plot? Is the story fully developed or are there gaps?
Give your opinion. Would you recommend this film?
